About the book

From the series of articles called 'Naanaga Naan' published on Her stories' Facebook page, we are publishing the book 'Paadhaigal unadhu, payanangal unadhu'. These articles are based on the author's own experiences about how a woman views this society and its discrimination. Starting from talking about gender equality, these articles have directed into a path of their own. 'Financial independence and freedom for women, 'are we upbringing our daughters just for marriage?', 'politics between men and women, 'do a 'female language' exist?', 'has she forgotten her own art?', 'say no, girl', are a few articles which talk about the violence and exploitation of women. This book consists of 24 articles which talk about the inner and outer self of a woman. These articles which end with the hashtag 'lets talk' reminded us of more things to be spoken about. About the author

Hema came into the literature world with her first poetry book 'muzhuval'. 'Paadhaigal unadhu, payanangal unadhu' is her second book. She is a yoga instructor who lives in Kochi. She firmly talks and publicizes her opinions on societal discrimination continuously. She's a commerce graduate and also a scholar in yoga. She is currently studying law.

She's not just a writer but also an orator. She cares about societal well-being and is filled with social responsibility. she is strongly attracted to the thoughts of Periyar and speaks and writes about her thoughts on feminism. She aims to achieve a new vision by reading and also spreads her thoughts by making videos on them. She reviews the books that she reads which creates an encouragement to the authors and piques the reader's interest to read more.
